Can I control what sections of my account my Deputies see?
Indeed you can. If you don’t want your Deputy to access certain information, like your insurance info, or see the secret behind your award-winning hamburger casserole recipe, you can customize their access at any time.
You can select these permissions when you first set up a Deputy, but you can update this at any time by following these steps:
- Click on the My Deputies link under the Secure Sharing section of your navigation bar.
- Select Manage on the profile of the Deputy whose permissions you want to change.
- Choose what sections you want to be shared.
- Update your Deputy’s permissions. Select Now to give them immediate access to information, After Death to keep that info locked until you’re gone, or Never to keep it hidden.
- Save your new settings.

Real Human Help
Robots are neat, and we love R2D2, Lieutenant Commander Data, and Johnny 5 as much as any sci-fi fan. But for all they can do, robots aren’t so great at customer service just yet. That’s why all our customer reps are real, flesh-and-blood human beings. If you ask them nicely, they may even tell you a joke.
We have customer service agents so real, you could reach out and touch them. But don’t, because that’d be weird. Just let them answer your questions or comments through email.
