What is a Deputy ?

A Deputy is one of the most trusted people in your life. It can be anyone from a family member to a friend to a particularly close hairdresser. You’ll add them to your account and customize what they should have access to and when.

How do I add a Deputy ?

As soon as you create your account, you’ll have an action item on your dashboard directing you to add your Deputy.

Can I control what sections of my account my Deputies see ?

Indeed you can. If you don’t want your Deputy to see the secret behind your grandmother’s chocolate chip cookie recipe, then you can customize their access appropriately at any time.

How do I become a Deputy ?

Whoever sets up a Sure Legacy account will need to add you as a Deputy from their account.

I was invited to become someone's Deputy. How do I accept the invitation ?

Check your email. We’ll automatically send the invitation to the email the account holder used when setting you up. There’ll be a nice big button you can push.

How does Sharing After Death work ?

Your Deputy will be responsible for logging into Sure Legacy after your death and requesting that your “After Death” sections be unlocked. Of course, we don’t want to assume the worst, so we’ll attempt to contact you and allow you to disallow this action. If we don’t hear back from you, those “After Death” sections will be unlocked for your Deputy.
