Security

What does “bank-level security” mean?

Despite what movies might have you believe, banks are incredibly secure, particularly digitally. We use the same industry-leading technology as banks to keep your vital personal information safe from any would-be Bonnies or Clydes.

Who will have access to my personal information?

Don’t worry, Sure Legacy admins and employees won’t be able to see your vital info. Only you and your Deputy will be able to get into specifics. Your family secrets are safe.

What happens to my information if I want to delete my Sure Legacy account?

If you want to completely delete your account, we suggest making sure you have copies of everything saved personally because we delete everything from our site immediately. The only thing left in the resulting digital ghost town will be your name, email address, and the date and time your account was deleted.

What happens to my personal information if I die?

Your Deputies will be able to access your account indefinitely in the event of your death.

What’s two-step authentication all about?

Two-step authentication is a safeguard that makes your account even more secure and protected from hackers. By turning the option on and confirming your identity with a simple 6-digit sent via text message or robocall, you make sure no bad guys sitting in front of their computer get access to your info.

With this feature turned on, we’ll provide you with a unique code by text or robocall that you’ll use to log in from an unrecognized device or from a recognized device if it’s been more than 30 days since your last log-in.

Real Human Help

Robots are neat, and we love R2D2, Lieutenant Commander Data, and Johnny 5 as much as any sci-fi fan. But for all they can do, robots aren’t so great at customer service just yet. That’s why all our customer reps are real, flesh-and-blood human beings. If you ask them nicely, they may even tell you a joke.

We have customer service agents so real, you could reach out and touch them. But don’t, because that’d be weird. Just let them answer your questions or comments through email.
